The goal of this project was to take a 2d image and transform it into a 3d space through a model box. I chose an image of Charles Pétillon’s work Distortion at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Shanghai. Using Crescentboard, styrofoam balls, and lighting gel, I recreated this image in a model box of the Emerson Paramount Theater.
